MEMBERSHIP

  • Get Monthly Newsletters updating all members on club activities and updates.

  • Join our monthly general member meetings.

  • Have the opportunity to discuss human rights topics and connect with other members

EVENTS & FUNDRAISING

  • Attend and participate in workshops, training and events in efforts to learn and improve allyship. 

  • Have the opportunity to network and meet people in your program and others in the Carleton community.

  • Be a part of an organized philanthropic effort that supports a variety of human rights issues.

DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

  • Attend and participate in programs designed to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students, faculty and staff.

  • Provides resources in protecting students from class discrimination and harassment. 

  • Drop in on office hours or book an appointment to discuss diversity, equity and inclusion in the Carleton community.

ADVOCACY

  • Attend and participate in student development programs to assist in fostering student engagement and promote networking. 

  • Have your needs and best interests prioritized and advocated for through the implementation of networking and volunteer opportunities

JOIN CUHRS

Membership in  CUHRS  is  open to all, irrespective of sex, age, creed, colour or program major.

Members have the right:

  • To speak on all matters pertaining to the organization;

  • To vote in all elections;

  • To seek nomination for any executive position;

  • To partake in any events of the organization                

  • Be duly informed of any and all meetings, events, and the elections of the organization.

  • Entitled to attend all meetings (2 meetings to get CUHRS on Co-Curricular Record)
